Long time no update, well I’ve been real busy arsing about in the L2A snow for the last 3 months, generally starting the day with 2 cups of strong coffee and a singalong to this Warren Zevon classic. Enjoy…

No-wheelers outside Debenhams.

Planks of a different kind descended upon Briggate last thursday…
One of the obstacles from the snowdome was carefully positioned right in the middle of the street, along with some real-ish snow and some scafold. Then some people with boards strapped to their feet proceeded to do stunts for the onlookers…

Get in there before the nobblers move in

Just spotted that the scaffold has been removed from around this block in Manc city centre, right outside the new mile high Hilton Tower on Deansgate.

Hilton Block

There’s a small row of ridges before the steps but the block end is still totally skateable and fresh.

In the distance there’s also a high curved block. Currently un-knobbled, can’t stay this way for long, grab a sesh while you can.

The Gonz in Leeds

Click the link below for a little example of how you might ride the Works bowl if you were Mark Gonzales, filmed at the Krooked demo a while back…

Gonz in the Works bowl link.

For some unexplained reason he had a big bit of cotton wool sellotaped to his chin.

Dan & Juan street chillin

This photo was taken outside a café in Madrid last April. I think we were killing some time that afternoon with a few beers and some tapas.

Dan and Juan street chillin in Madrid

Last time I went skating with Dan we got tickets from the London ’skateboard police’. Apparently that means next time either of us get busted we’ll get a fine.

The main thing I recall about getting our tickets was us making light of the offence and laughing at the flattering descriptions the copper had written on them. “Check this man…. 6ft and slim… I sound pretty hot!” ha ha ha… rad.

Happy birthday dude! Welcome to the old fuckers club :)
